Mind Against — brothers Alessandro and Federico Fognini — are Italian-born, Lisbon-based artists renowned for their emotionally rich blend of techno, house, and IDM influences. With releases on labels such as Afterlife Records and Hotflush Recordings, the duo have established themselves as one of the most recognizable acts in the global electronic scene. Their multidisciplinary platform HABITAT, launched in 2023, has evolved into a label, audiovisual show, and event concept exploring the intersection of music, art, and immersive storytelling. Through acclaimed productions like “Dreamcast” and “Walking Away,” as well as remixes for Röyksopp, Adriatique and Moby, Mind Against continue to refine a signature sound built on cinematic synth work, driving percussion, and powerful emotional depth.
Joining them on “Late At Night” is HUMAN404, an enigmatic electronic producer known for weaving atmospheric textures with futuristic sound design. His productions move between techno and progressive electronics, combining introspective moods with club-focused energy. Completing the collaboration is Anakim, the US-based producer whose releases and performances have earned recognition across the global underground scene. Blending techno with indie-influenced songwriting and evocative vocals, Anakim’s music has become a staple in sets by leading DJs worldwide.
Together, the three artists craft a track that unfolds with pulsating basslines, luminous melodies, and a hypnotic late-night tension built for peak dancefloor moments. “Late At Night” reflects the emotive and immersive sonic identity that continues to shape today’s techno landscape.
The release follows the renewed momentum of CORE Records, which recently returned with a fresh wave of music. On February 27, the label kicked off this new phase with “I Won’t Let You Go” by Rush Avenue, the first in a series of upcoming releases.
Beyond the label, CORE continues to expand globally as a brand and cultural platform.
The iconic CORE stage, originating from Tomorrowland, now hosts its own events and stages at festivals worldwide. In February, CORE Medellín took place for the third time, further strengthening the concept’s presence in Latin America. Upcoming highlights include CORE Los Angeles in early May (tickets are available now) and CORE Melbourne scheduled for November, continuing the brand’s global expansion.
Coinciding with the release of “Late At Night,” the DJ set of Mind Against recorded in Comuna 3 Medellin is also available online.
