Rose Ringed ascends mythical heights with euphoric new single ‘Climbing’

Friday, June 27, 2025 - Dutch electronic producer Rose Ringed returns with his second release on CORE Records, unveiling ‘Climbing’, a radiant, emotionally driven dance track that fuses ancient myth with modern melodic power. ‘Climbing’ captures the spirit of perseverance, transformation, and love through an entrancing sonic journey. A standout feature of ‘Climbing’ is its choir-like lead vocal – performed by Rose Ringed himself. The melody first came to him in a vivid moment of inspiration, and rather than searching externally, he recorded it himself to preserve the original vision.

Rose Ringed: “’Climbing’ is inspired by the Labors of Hercules. A man, driven by love, embarks on a relentless journey through Rome’s seven hills, each representing a challenge, much like the legendary trials of Hercules. He searches for a woman he once saw, whose presence haunts him like an unattainable prize. As Hercules faced monsters, impossible tasks, and the gods themselves, this man faces the weight of his desire and the seemingly insurmountable obstacles of class and fate. Each hill he climbs brings him closer to understanding that his quest is as much about his own transformation as it is about finding her. The Aventine tests his endurance, the Capitoline his faith, and the Palatine his courage. Just as Hercules sought redemption through his labors, the man seeks meaning through his climb, realizing that the true struggle is within. ‘Climbing’ echoes the spirit of perseverance and the pursuit of something greater, blending ancient myth with the timeless human need to overcome obstacles for love and self-discovery.”

This summer marks another milestone as Rose unveils his highly anticipated debut album, launching on July 14th. A deeply personal project, the album is dedicated to his late mother, a jazz ballerina who profoundly shaped his musical journey before her passing when he was just 11 years old.
